THE PAST WEEK

Has been rather uneventful. Just work and home and things like that. It has been so nice to be able to work 40 hours a week and get home at a decent time and feel like a human being instead of feeling like a slave to my job. I still have tons of things to do here at the house that I am not doing though. It's kind of hard to get back into a routine, while working 40 hours a week, when I used to work 50+ hours a week. Hopefully, I will get used to it soon and be able to get some housework done once in a while.
I can't quit thinking about going to visit my Mother though. I am so excited, but not looking forward to flying alone clear across the United States. I have done it before, and I guess that it's nothing that several good books and my mp3 player won't cure. I hope that someone there will let me use their computer to recharge my tunes for the trip home. And, another problem has me perplexed. I don't know how I am going to get to Nashville for the flight out. I guess that I will take the car and leave it in one of those parking lots, but I really don't want to do that, and I really don't like driving to Nashville. Any suggestions from anyone as to where the best place to park my car would be appreciated! I hope that everything will work out though.
Kids are all fine. Megan just got back from a business trip to Greenville, South Carolina, where she did several days of training, which left John to take care of Wesley, Bailey and Will while she was gone. I bet that was a trip! Jill is still working and has a new man in her life. Pete is still going to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. He's also still working part time, which gives him a little spending money and that helps us out a lot.
Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday, and I will be making my usual fare of lasagna, layered taco dip, and Pete is going to make his Hot Wings. Gotta root for the Giants, because, I always root for the underdog. So, Go Giants.

GO GIANTS!!!! Im sure your Mom is as excited as you. I like the new color scheme. It makes it easier to read for my old eyes and also my crappy work computer.

HAha...I googled 'digital montage' just to be sure what you were referring to and just got more confused. There were giant collages made of teeny pictures, videos with music, plain old websites and 80 other things. I'm guessing the video slideshows?? I have done those digitally....just with Windows Movie Maker. Samantha has just gotten into it and her dad has now too. They are definetely a project that sucks you in!
